The 25-store sushi chain that built Flowy as its own internal tool.

Jack Lin's Australian sushi chain — the longest-running deployment of Flowy. Every feature on the platform started as something a real Sushi & Co operator asked for.

Context

Jack Lin's chain — 25+ stores across Australia, founded 2014, positioned on freshness. Japanese-cuisine QSR with a complex fresh-food supply chain. The longest-running deployment of Flowy, predating Flowy as a company.

Challenge

Fresh-food at chain scale breaks every off-the-shelf system. Pantry lists differ store-by-store. Cut-offs are mid-morning. Suppliers WhatsApp at 3am. Store managers expect mobile-first ordering with one hand on a knife.

Solution

Jack built the first version in 2014 to run his own stores. Iterated against live volume for a decade — every UI decision workshopped with someone holding a pickup slip on the warehouse floor.

Benefit

25+ stores on the same platform today. Every feature battle-tested in production before any external customer saw it. The proof that Flowy was operator-led from line one — not assembled from generic commerce parts.

Other case studies

Two more in production.
